If you work on MS Word in Windows laptop or desktop, then you should know about its auto save feature. Actually, the default 10-minute timer file is set for auto-save in MS Word from Windows. That is, your file automatically gets auto-saved in 10 minutes. You can reduce this time so that if you forget to save the file many times, then it can be easily recovered because it will be auto-saved from time to time.

To reduce the time limit in the auto save feature, first open MS Word and click on the file option here.
– Here at the bottom you will find ‘Option; option will appear. In this, go to the save option and here reduce the default time from 10 minutes to 1,2, or 5 minutes according to your choice. In this way, even if you ever forget to save the file, your work will not go waste. Your file will be saved every minute as per the timer you have set.
